Our values

Screen Language believes in:

Respecting the filmic product

We know how lengthy and expensive film-making can be, and how much effort goes towards a finished video product. This is why we strive to ensure that the subtitles, audio description or other language products that we are asked to provide enhance, and do not disrupt, their viewing experience.

Producing high-quality translations, subtitles and audio descriptions

These are not simple accessories, to be added on to a video product at the very last minute. Members of the audience will experience the video exclusively through these, and this is why just as must thought has to put into them as towards any other part of the film-making process.

Offering affordable rates

We dream of a world where any small and large producer can afford to bring their videos and films to new audiences, be it foreign festivals and markets or to the blind and deaf local community. Our location in Scotland allows us to use fairly priced local resources and keep prices down for our customers.
